Uxbridge, Ontario ... Run For The Diamonds ... Valued At $5,000.00*

Register by April 19th in order to qualify for the opportunity to win the Diamond valued at $5,000.00. The Uxbridge Half Marathon along with the other races and kids dash makes this event one for the whole family, come and enjoy a great family day with Prizes, and Medals. (refreshments are available)

In Uxbridge, Ontario - Moving To Uxbridge? - A Sporting Community I mentioned the Run for the Diamond, a charitable community event that supports The Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Auxiliary. This is 10K Run, 5K Family Run/Walk and Kids Dash that takes advantage of the scenic trails and roadways of Uxbridge to provide participants with an opportunity to discover another side of Uxbridge. A side even some locals have not yet discovered.

Uxbridge - Elgin Pond

ELGIN PARK

The 21K event

This event starts in Elgin Park and takes you along local concession roads and trails including part of the Trans Canada Trail and The countryside Preserve along with a few urban streets.(a new route this year)

The 10k event

This event starts in Elgin Park and takes you along local concession roads and trails including part of the Trans Canada Trail ... this route follows the route used for the local Terry Fox Run.

The 5k event

This event is perfect for the family as it it much shorter and is mostly along paved concession roads with a short portion heading through the Brookdale Track

The top male and Female in each catagory will also win a beautiful diamond pin. sponsored by Rutledge Jewellers

Dagny - it's a great way to combine the outdoors, a healthy exercise, some socializing, and by far the most important support a local group that does much for the community.
